Jeopardy! History Wiki

Paul Andrew Richter (b. October 28, 1966) competed on Celebrity Jeopardy! for the show's 16th and 26th seasons.

In his 2009 game, he set a one-day record for the Celebrity version of the show, with $68,000 going to St. Jude’s Hospital. That same game, Wolf Blitzer set the record for lowest Celebrity single-game score, with -$4,600. He was scheduled to play in the semifinals of the 2009 Tournament, but dropped out due to a scheduling conflict and replaced by Isaac Mizrahi, who had the highest score of all eliminated in the quarterfinals.

He was invited to the Primetime Celebrity Jeopardy tournament in 2022, but suffered his first defeat there to Simu Liu. His $30,000 consolation prize would go to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, while Simu would lose his semifinal to eventual tournament champion Ike Barinholtz.
