Common with Other Champions[]

Dan Pawson[]

  • Both of them have co-championship experience. Dan on his 2nd win in a row and Ben on his 3rd win in a row.
  • Both finished in third place in the final match. The difference was that Ben was in third before the last FJ and Dan led going into the last FJ before dropping to third.
  • Both were placed in Group 1 at ToC and won. In addition, one of the other finalists was also a co-winner.

Dave Leach[]

  • They both have co-wins, Ben in his 3rd game and Dave in his 4th game.
  • Both subsequent champions won four games in a row and advanced to the semifinals.

Larissa Kelly[]

Buzzy Cohen[]

  • The two's opponents were also on the ToC, with the difference being that Ben gave up the championship (Mark Japinga) and Buzzy stepped down.
  • Both were placed in Group 1 and won against Superchamp in the final. For reference, Ben beat two people. In addition, the superchampion has been promoted to WC.
  • Both won the Tournament of Champions.
