Bob Mesko was an arts administrator from Denver, Colorado. He passed away on November 16, 2012, at the age of 49 after battling cancer, including two stem-cell transplants for both lymphoma and leukemia.

Tournament of Champions[]

In the fourth quarterfinal game, he faced off against David Madden and Michael Falk. Throughout the first two rounds, he came up with 14/15 correct responses. He and Madden got Final correct, but after losing to Madden, his and Michael's scores, $14,000 and $14,400, respectively, were enough to advance as wildcards.

In the first semifinal game, he faced off against Vik Vaz and Aaron Thompson. Throughout the first two rounds, he came up with 14/16 correct responses (including 1/1 Daily Double). He and Aaron got Final incorrect. After losing to Vik (in a come from behind win), they both received $10,000 each.
