Jeff Xie won the 2014 Teen Tournament on a Tiebreaker. Jeff also played for John P. Stevens High School in Edison NJ until his graduation in 2015. On the Season 30 Finale, which aired on August 1, 2014, the deciding game of the Teen Tournament, in which both final game 2 leader Jeff Xie and final game 1 high scorer Alan Koolik both wagered everything in Final Jeopardy!, both responded correctly and became tied with two-game totals of $54,200 so they both went to a tiebreaker. The tiebreaker category was "The Civil War". The clue was "The battles of Shiloh & Collierville were fought in this state." Jeff rang in first with the correct question, "What is Tennessee?" to winning the $75,000. Season 30 was also the last season in which the Teen Tournament prize is $75,000 before that prize became $100,000 in Season 33 (There was no Teen Tournament in Seasons 31 & 32. The following reasons are these: Celebrity Jeopardy! in Season 31. Alex Trebek's full knee replacement surgery in Season 32.).
