Tournament of Champions[]

In the fourth quarterfinal game, he faced off Kristin Morgan and Dan McShane. Throughout the first two rounds, he came up with 17/18 correct responses (including 1/1 Daily Double). Everyone got Final correct. Keith automatically advanced to the semifinals, while Kristin's and Dan's scores, $17,500 and $20,000, respectively, were enough to advance as wildcards.

In the third semifinal game, he faced off against Jason Keller and Paul Nelson. Throughout the first two rounds, he came up with 27/28 correct responses (including 1/2 Daily Doubles). He and Paul got Final incorrect, but Keith advanced via runaway. Paul and Keller took home $10,000.

In the finals, he faced off against Kristin Morgan and Colby Burnett. Throughout the finals, he came up with a combined 33/36 correct responses (including 1/3 Daily Doubles). He got 1/2 Final correct, but after losing to Colby (in a runaway game), he received $100,000 for first runner-up.

Battle of the Decades[]

He played in the fifth game in the 2000s Battle of the Decades. He faced off against Dan Pawson and Maria Wenglinsky. Throughout the first two rounds, he came up with 13/17 correct responses. No one got Final correct. After losing to Dan, he and Maria took home $5,000.

Common with Other Champions[]

Tim Aten[]

  • Both are champions with 7 consecutive wins, and both successors have won 5 games in a row.
  • The successor champion has never won a lock game in Regular.
  • Both have experienced come from behind wins. The difference was that Tim had three and Keith had two.

Troy Meyer[]

  • All of the successor champions qualified for ToC even though they failed to answer even a single question of Regular FJ.
  • They both advanced to the ToC finals, with Troy placing third and Keith finishing as first runner-up.
  • Both got off on Friday in third place. The difference is that Troy was in second before the last Final Jeopardy and Keith was in first before the last Final Jeopardy before they dropped to third. All the opponents who defeated them also advanced to the ToC.
