Common with Other Champions[]

Emma Boettcher[]

  • Both have the same best record, and the runner-up's FJ! prize money is the same. If there's a difference, the Mackenzie is a bit more ($30,200).
  • The winner of the ToC they appeared in is the same season.
  • Both made their debut on Monday and got off on Thursday. Their opponents had two consecutive wins.

Hannah Wilson[]

  • Both are 8-game winning streak champions and hold the record for the last and first women's 5-game winning streak or more before and after COVID-19.
  • Both have records of winning over $40,000. The difference is that Hannah won by a landslide and MacKenzie won by $1.
  • Neither of them even made it pass the Quarterfinals, the most among female winners.
  • Both appeared in the Invitational Tournament, but never made it past the quarterfinals.

Trivia[]

  • She was the last female 5-time champion in the Alex Trebek era, and the last female 5-time champion before the recording system with no audience due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The last 5-time champion while Alex was alive was Kevin Walsh, and as of the recording, Brayden Smith is the last.
  • She is the first female 6+ time champion to not reach the semifinals, it is unique in the 15-member system.
  • After her, there was no champion with more than 6 consecutive wins for over a year, but Brian Chang ended the Spring and Autumn Warring States era with 7 consecutive wins, and after that, Courtney Shah followed her as the women's champion with more than 5 consecutive wins in 1 year and 6 months.
  • She is the sister of a Season 36 player John Lance.
